Owner and CEO of Full Tilt Beard Balm, Renould "Reno" Giles grew up in Oakland California. Early on he had a passion for BMX bikes which later developed into a love for motorcycles. Reno spent his early adulthood living in Las Vegas Nevada before moving to Dallas, Texas to be closer to his family and further his career.

Like most Texans, it didn’t take long for Reno’s passion to expand to big belts, big trucks, and big beards. The journey of growing his beard was not an easy one. He used a number of different beard products but was never satisfied. He also tried purchasing various beard balms with each visit to the men's grooming section of local stores. Never finding the right balm that would give his beard the moisture and great scents he was looking for.

In January of 2020, in the kitchen of his home, Reno decided to create his own beard balm. He was determined and started by trying different DIY beard balms recipes with some failures and successes. With the help of close friends, Reno created a formula that provided great moisture and contained long lasting scents. It was long before Reno was ready to launch Full Tilt Beard Balm to share his creations with all of you.

Today, at Full Tilt Beard Balm, we focus on a combination of natural and organic products to treat your face, beard, and body to an ultimate grooming experience.
